We are a typical American married middle class couple living in the pacific northwest , we have two boys Michael is 17 and David J. is 25. My name is David my wife's name is Cathy.

Cathy is a Registered Nurse and I'm an aero space machinist. We were both born in the early 1950's and over the last 35 years we have watched our country and its people spiral downward and out of control both financially and economically because of the reckless path our government and big business has decided to follow.

We as Americans are no longer in charge of how our country is run and how our tax dollars are spent. The squeezing and continued taxing of the people is proof the American government is totally out of control and completely out of touch with the American people. The powers to be and big business have increased their wealth by billions of dollars while we the people have suffered! This behavior has taken our country to the brink of national bankruptcy. This blatant attack on the middle class of America and our country must stop!

The USA has a population of about 300 million! There have been many polls taken and it's an agreed upon fact that between 78 and 80% of the American people are unhappy with the direction the country has taken over the last 40 years! All agree that the quality of life for working Americans has taken a back seat to government and big business reckless spending backroom deals and personal agendas.

There is a movement in America that has received media attention "The tea Party Movement" its founded on the principles and beliefs of our Founding Fathers for its their beliefs and principles that gave us freedom and a new government by the people for the people in the first place.
